Stayed at cart Linhay (a converted former barn and wagon store), on P J Rogers farm. An excellent location to base yourself to visit North Devon. The building is well appointed, the main accomodation is an open plan kitchen, dining and seating area, which has a full height windows on the south side of the room, presenting superb views across the valley and beyond (even possible to see the sea towards Westward Ho! and Appledore). The remainder of the accommodation, consists of Two bedrooms one with a double bed, the other with two single beds (warning not suitable for someone who is heavier than 100kg, as I discovered, quite a surprise in the middle of the night) and the final room is a stylish shared bathroom. The kitchen space is well equipped with a dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, microwave, oven and electric hob, more than adequate for the average holiday catering requirements (even for a full Xmas lunch proved to be fairly straight forward). Spent a relaxing four days over Xmas 2021 here, including an Xmas eve walk along Westward Ho! Beach and a boxing day amble around the local footpaths (one of which passes cart Linhay)
