Lanchester Medical Centre

Staff are always excellent. Since having my little boy, I have contacted them a few times and they are always so accommodating and helpful. Reception staff are extremely friendly. I rarely leave reviews but wanted to comment on the excellent service at a time when services are stretched so well done to Lanchester Medical.

I congratulate both the front of house reception staff and telephone staff for their professionalism, caring and friendly attitude demonstrated when carrying out their duties. The temporary doctors who have recently filled in at Lanchester Medical Centre have too been fantastic, it would be great if these such doctors could stay and together make Lanchester Medical Centre Great again.

Dreadful service, and anyone who doesn't think it's dreadful has never had to call multiple times. The doctors don't talk to each other and pass on information. They all have contradictory views and ways of treating people. One doctor won't give you some medication, the other will. One doctor gives you a fit note saying this person can't work right now, the other has their own bias and might not. Worst of all is one of the reception team. A southern man who is incredibly rude and dense when it comes to procedure and information. The guy in question says you need to call in the morning for appointments, a lovely woman the next day will be able to arrange an appointment in the middle of the day. Genuinely might be the least professional and least functional doctors surgery in Durham.
