        Clean if a little quiet. Only had bottles but bar man was nice and funny.

        I'd mostly stopped going in because the last landlord/landlady alienated a lot of the regulars, were really fast in telling people to leave over minor issues (barred a lot of people over something that an apology and a promise not to do that again would have solved, I think) and wanted everyone out by 10pm on weekdays. One thing The Bull did have going for it was low prices, but then the new landlord came in a few weeks ago and he immediately put the beer prices up by a lot, so still not impressed.
