I've struggled with fibromyalgia pain for several years and was encouraged by my pain management team to try pilates and yoga to help with the gentle strengthening of all my joints and limbs. I found Gayle's information and decided to overrule my anxiety and call. The very same week I was in a gentle pilates class with 2 other ladies in the same position as me (which helped me feel comfortable). Gayle has a small home studio that is inviting and NOT in your face! I've been going every week for almost 2 months with a little practice at home of breathing, relaxation, stretching, and strengthening... I feel the benefit every day, I am more able to be in control of my pain, stiffness, and anxiety. Gayle pays attention to how you say you feel physically and mentally and tailors the session accordingly which means that I go even when my body would rather not because I know I'm going to benefit from the session. Thank you Gayle, thank you so much for your understanding of my condition, your encouragement and support.

I love my classes. I attend twice aweek. Small classes with Wonderful ladies and a 5 star instructor. Gayles dedication, knowledge and friendly caring attitude is second to none. Love love love it!

May 2019, Im overweight and starting to feel the aches and pains of middle age. I have been attending Gayles pilates class once a week for a couple of months now and already feel the benefits, my balance and flexibilty has improved alot already, moving from beginners to intermediate level. Gayle is very friendly, she tailors and adapts the routine to suit abilities and needs. The small group size in her home studio means she can give personal attention. I highly recommend her classes. UPDATE: 2022 - I still love attending Gayles PILATES class for menopausal ladies, we have a good rapper in a small friendly & supportive class taylored to our needs by Gayle. Ive added in a PERSONAL TRAINING class now too, and Gayle keeps the varied routines interesting and challenging. Gayles home studio is a welcoming and calm environment, and well equipped with assorted weights, bands, etc along with lovely comfy new mats. My posture has improved and bodyshape more toned and I feel much better for it!

Personalised sessions for chronic pain and fibromyalgia? Yes, it IS POSSIBLE with Gayle! Highly recommend to ANYONE with sciatica, fibro, CFS, etc. She's given me physical and emotional strength and really helped my balance! I now attend twice a week, she's that awesome

I love the little bit of me time that I get by going to Pilates classes with Nuyu. If my chronic health condition is bad we do yoga instead or I do a easier form of the exercise. My health has definitely improved and I have a better understanding of how my muscles can be stretched to alleviate my pain. I really love how personal the sessions are and if you are put off by big gym classes Nuyu is definitely for you as they are small and personal.
