My dad stayed at Moorside for 18 months and I can't praise this wonderful home enough! He was placed in 2 other homes before being lucky to get a place here. The staff go above and beyond their requirements and my dad was very happy during his time there.

My father had a very negative experience staying at this care home. He was reprimanded for walking around and was put down and told off for swearing because he has dementia. We found bruises on his arms and he was give a black eye by another resident. Management increased his medication to the point where he couldn't walk unaided. He was very unhappy here. Luckily he has been moved to another care home, who have reduced his medication. He is now walking around again easily and enjoying his time in a more positive environment. The home itself was clean and tidy.

My father was a resident here for a short space of time following discharge from Hospital. The staff were excellent, professional and compassionate and did everything they could for my dad. There were enough people working and everything was top class. I would have no hesitation in strongly recommending this as the first choice for nursing care in the area.
