Mighty Student Living - Student Accommodation Lancaster

Very unprofessional and ignore issues. They have never called back, boiler issues have taken weeks to sort and issues with the house were only resolved after multiple calls. That a company aiming at students should treat them so badly is disappointing.

After moving from India to Lancaster 3 months ago, the team at Mighty Student has been extremely helpful, especially Ben (property manager), who is very prompt and professional in handling any concerns or problems that may arise in the property. Also, Graham, who's part of the maintenance team, handled the issue diligently without causing any inconvenience.

Avoid at all costs! The property was filthy on moving in day with a maintenance man trying to make repairs on that day. It looked like a fight had happened with holes in the floor, holes in the door, furniture damaged and so on. The inventory said that many items were present which were not eg. TV, Microwave, desk .. just not there. Walls marked, damp, mould, really a slum. No gas safety certificate, no TV license. They should be ashamed of themselves. The agent, Luke, at Mighty Student was useless and constantly brushed off any complaint or request he did not want to deal with and there were/are many. Don't use them. Go elsewhere. Don't encourage them or their slum properties.

Landlord review: They're fairly responsive and quick to sort things out, although the BIG issue for me was their 'NoPosit' scheme, which basically means the tenant pays no deposit, then if any damage is caused all that can be done is a bill is sent to the student. In my case, this was a foreign student who disappeared leaving a rank mess and damage, and there's no chance of getting any money back.
