The service received from this company has been absolutely shocking. The case has been with them 16 weeks and no progress. No updates and don't respond to emails or calls. 5 people have handled the case so far and none of them are competent.

Hayley Buchan was initially helpful as solicitor from Simpson Millar. She was assisting in my Tribunal appeal for ehcp. After my recent experience I will definitely advise other parents who as she knew was being gaslighted by the successful colluded professionals school, CAMHS & LA not to choose this Solicitors firm. After many conversations of my case being strong etc I was shocked to receive a telephone call to be informed that we did not win at appeal. Disappointed hugely not only at the outcome but mostly at the way in which Hayley chose to speak to me. She was abrupt and showed no empathy when I naturally was shocked. She kept trying to cut me off and defended the decision as in her words had no error in law. Further tried to block my requests to try to point out where clear failures stood out by saying a senior colleague also backs her up for not appealing. No aftercare of being told this decision and was warned that even if you get a diagnosis of autism for your child just after the outcome her decision will not change. Well he was diagnosed with autism this week. I was not wrong all along about my son. Shame on Simpson Millar treating me in a way which was very unprofessional lacking care, respect and trust! Parents of SEND children have enough tackling this system without the person who is supposed to advocating on their behalf treating them so insignificantly. I clearly felt whose side is she on? Parents do not choose this firm!
