Just had 2 nights here. Dont get the negatives on here. Jay is in the process of updating this hotel as hes not had it long. We had room 9 with a wonderful view and its big. Pillows were so comphy. Bedding & towels were spotless. Carpet certainly wasnt dirty and at no point did i feel unsafe. In fact quite the oposite as you can deadlock your room. So dont take any notice of any one that says the opposite. Jay is so helpful and friendly without being in your face. It was my birthday & he had a bed banner, a cake, proseco all without request. So give this small buisness a try , make up your own mind up. We was a very big group from age 30 to 60. All of us have said we will return. Thankyou Jay you was a gentleman

Me and my family went to this hotel expecting a nice seaside hotel to, as it says on a decoration in the breakfast area, 'wash our worries away'. However, this wasn't the case. The outside of the hotel and the downstairs bar area look really nice and welcoming, along with the staff. However, the rooms were not so nice. In the rooms we had booked, there was: -Reading lights above the bed not working -The light in the bathroom wasn't working -The carpets were disgusting -There was a big gap under our door -The bottom of the bathroom door had chunks missing -The walls had marks on the wallpaper and wallpaper was hanging off the wall -Some towels had stains on them, along with bed sheets. -There was a lot of dog hair. -The water from the tap tasted horrible (assuming it was drinkable) -The room door had been kicked in. -The bathroom door wouldn't shut properly -And the hot water in the sink didn't work -You could feel springs in the mattress of the bed -Found two spiders The breakfast wasn't horrible except for the drinks in the machine. We tried to get hot chocolate, but instead we got weak tea. My family also complained about the coffee not tasting nice. We also bought rooms with special characteristics, however they never gave us that room. However, the staff was willing to help us as much as they could. There was also a lot of disturbance outside the back whilst trying to sleep at night. One of the staff members had said it was shut for two years and they bought it, however it has been open for a long time since then and they could've made the rooms look a lot nicer. Positives: -Shower had nice hot water -Beds were overall comfortable -Staff were really kind -It was a really nice area for the hotel to be in Overall, me and my family didn't feel very safe in the hotel, but the staff working there were willing to help as much as they could. Wouldn't go there again but it was an... okay stay for just a few nights.
