Fabulous setting. Real ales served along with the usual beers , lagers etc. lovely outdoor seating area with fantastic views.

I was invited by a member for lunch, you can only attend with another member. Although, they do have many functions here and there are multiple rooms so a number of functions/ events can be going on at once. It was a very quiet Saturday afternoon,not many people were in but the staff were preparing for an event that was to start in the evening this did not prevent our enjoyment. We ordered our drinks and sat in a beautiful spot with great views of the course and sea! We looked at the menu and put our orders in at the bar. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good with lots of fresh salad. We ordered a jacket potato which was a very good size, with tuna and cheese and a beef and onion gravy panini both were packed with filling. Although I do think the option of a sandwich rather than a panini would have been a good option. It really is a superb setting for any event. Unfortunately I can't comment on the golfing, I'm not a golfer but there did seem to be plenty of people out on the courses.

I go here with my mum, who was a full playing member for many years and is now a social member. She's 92 - and pops in several times a week for lunch or a snack. The food is very nice. What is even nicer is the kindness of staff there, who look after her. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
