Royal Lancaster Infirmary

Admitted to A&E. Amazing staff despite their working conditions care support workers very good and allocated nurse ED doctor and radiologist. Went to Othropeidcs ward eventually pre surgery. Amazing nursing staff including associate nurses and student nurses. Surgery and anesthetic team was very good. Able to discharge with great coordination between medics, nursing, care and pharmacy. Paramedics were also finding me in the lake district in a steep hill descent, but not from this hospital.

Why do we pay taxes monthly if @NHSEngland does not comply with its services? I've been having an horrible chest pain for three days that doesn't even allow me to move, I've gone 2 times to 2 different hospitals (kendal and lancaster) and @NHSEngland haven't done the tests I need to find out what's wrong with my chest, I always pay taxes monthly and for once when I go to the hospital for an emergency @NHSEngland do not treat me in what the doctor said I need. I need the breast ultrasound scan ASAP, I could get worst and if something happens with my breast is your responsibility because you are so negligent.

This 1 star is purely a reflection on the abysmal parking situation at this hospital which is supposed to accommodate a significant resident population and a university population. Parking is truly atrocious. 4 times around the carpark. 4 tickets, as if you don't leave within a set time you get charged even though you have never parked. No road parking. Told to park up the hill a mile away and walk to the hospital. Contractors parked over parking bays. Absolutely disgraceful. Hate getting an appointment for this hospital.
