We arrived here on the 17th of April after a pretty long walk so we had an appetite. I orderd the very large breakfast and my wife ordered the Tea cake. The Tea cake was the best one she has ever eaten with delicous Jam, and Butter, along with what seemed like an endless pot of tea with fresh tea leaves. My breakfast was extremely good. I have never seen such beautifully prepared poached eggs in my life that just oozed the most delicous yoke. The sausages were beautiful as was the beans, and crispy toast. Hash browns great. The Bacon was nice but seemed to be unsmoked. The only downside I could find was that the black pudding was not great, not because of the coooking of it, but I have eaten that brand before and it does not have great flavour, (Also being a scotsman we have a refined palate for black pudding lol). The latte was so good, that I had two. The staff were extremely friendly, and helpful. This cafe / restaurant sits on the main road across from the promenade, and is tastefully decortated. I would recommend it as the best breakfast I have had in 11 years of coming here.
