We stayed here over the weekend 18th and 19th Feb 2023 as we were attending the Christening of our Grandson. The Guest House/Hotel is well situated right on the front. On arrival we were greeted with a warm friendly welcome and given all the information we needed to make our stay comfortable - it is remiss of me as I do not know the owners names, sorry !! We had a king room at the back of the house which was very roomy, exceptionally clean, nicely and freshly decorated, with a very comfy King size bed and very quiet overnight. In fact the whole house was quiet overnight and it was full. The room had enough hanging and storage space for cloths etc. TV and tea and coffee making facilities which were topped up each morning. Compact and bijou shower room that again was very clean and freshly decorated and fully serviceable. The breakfast was amazing and there was loads of choice and it did set us up for the start of each day. The only down side is that it has no parking so it is all on street parking which in Feb is fine. If we were to stay longer or at a more seasonally busy time we would look to get a space in a long stay car park which does solve the parking problem. Drop the bags off and then park the car, sorted. Perhaps the owners could get some info on local long stay car parks ? But we were very impressed with everything about the Balmoral and would definitely stay there again and for a longer time so thank you for making it a pleasant stay.
