    I recently went into salon services looking for some advice for a customer colour. I was served by Lucy who went out of her way to help, listening to what it is we were looking for, recommending colours options as well as different brands. She was very knowledgeable with her advice as well as patient whilst we looked at options. The colour turned out fantastic and the client was thrilled. Great service from the Morecambe store.

    Avoid buying from Sally Salon Services as they are very unpleasant to deal with if you have a problem and in my case they even ignored the law causing me to have to consider taking them to court. I recently bought a hair product on the specific advice of a member of their sales staff. The product did not work (and was 7 times more expensive than on Ebay as I later discovered). The refused to acknowledge that they had any responsibility for this and the only way I could get a refund would have been to travel 60 miles to their store! They had no sympathy for the cost and trouble this would incur and I got the impression that their customer services staff and management enjoyed upsetting me and pretending not to know the law. I even emailed the Chief Executive but he was even worse and would not do anything to help. I sent him a letter before legal action as is required when you are about to take legal action against a company - and the company is supposed to respond to try to avoid legal action but this appalling firm just ignored their duty under the law to respond so now I am having to pursue this to court if I want redress. You can tell the quality of a company by the way they deal with problems and this lot have shown their true nature. I hope my experience is informative and helps others avoid the same distressing and unfair treatment.
