        This is hands down my favourite bakery. I live about 20 minutes north of Lancaster and I will gladly make a trip to Lancaster just to but some bread there. Their overnight white is just amazing!

        Fantastic range of freshly baked breads. Very knowledgeable and friendly service. Their house sourdough is delicious and lots more to try, including daily specials.

        1 STAR FOR GLUTEN FREE 5 STARS FOR EVERYTHING ELSE Ive recently had to go gluten free, but couldnt imagine life without Filberts. Unfortunately their gf loaf is pretty awful: - Impossible to cut without it crumbling to pieces - Bits of grease proof paper cooked into the side - Horrible floury flavour I dont think the bread should be sold until the recipe is amended. If thats not possible, dont charge a stonking 4.95 for a small ! I would ask for a refund if it wasnt an independent business.
