Got this cheap afternoon deal for 2 from Groupon. The decoration is strange for a place with English tea.. it looks more like a burger restaurant. The lady that served us was kind but she was on her own, so it took more than 10 minutes to be served. The food itself was ok, scone was great, the cakes as well, sandwiches were so so.. apart of a couple which were just bread and cucumber.

I was on holiday and saw this place on groupon so I thought I'd give it a try but I was very displeased when there was literally only butter and cucumber in the cucumber sandwich. I've never see such a sad sandwich and i've had better high tea out of the country. If you are looking for a cheap place to get a coffee and cake its alright. The only good thing was the tea and the server was very polite; even though she never brought the water I asked for. Don't get high tea here unless you like butter and cucumber sandwiches.

Nice place for straightforward food choices. Good Eggs Benedict, the coffee is good too! Comfortable sit in cafe. Friendly staff.
