Be wary about all those 5 star reviews that don't have any actual written feedback. Google does not require verification as to weather the person has actually stayed in the hotel. I think there are a lot of phony 5 star reviews because this hotel does not deserve that high of ranking at all especially at $400/night. Ridiculously overpriced. One good point is the location. I equate the quality of the room to a Motel 6 in the US. Have fun!

The Good: The location of this hotel is excellent! This hotel is right above the Queensway tube stop - which means most of the main tourist attractions are only about a 20-30 minute tube ride away. Being right off Hyde Park, and close to restaurants and services is an added bonus. Another great part of this hotel is the service. The staff were very helpful and welcoming during our visit. The Bad: I use the term "bad" very lightly here - the only thing remotely bad about the hotel was the very uncomfortable bed. A new mattress would do wonders.

Apart from location, theres nothing good about this hotel! A decade past its prime, the room lacks basics such as fan extractor in the bathroom or even small tea selection in the room, not to mention not working lights. The reception staff is moody and disinterested in providing any service and at 350 per night being given a room facing massive construction site without as much as a mention of it online or indeed at check in is just a joke. Wont even mention cleanliness- the below is the amount dust we found on the only glass shelf in the room, we had the room cleaned this morning and its still here as we arrived in the evening. Avoid at all cost!
