Phoenix Hotel

I was in town for the 2023 TCS London Marathon and stayed at this hotel from Thurs - Mon. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling alone to London. Here are few considerations: - Short 4 minutes walk from a major underground/subway station (Bayswater). There are all kinds of amenities surrounding the station such as convenience store, restaurants, etc. - Great location within London. - Safe neighborhood. - Very friendly staff. - Free wi-fi with enough bandwidth. - Quiet street. - Close walk to Notting Hills - Continental breakfast was decent. - Reasonably priced. - Free luggage storage service after you check-out. - Free parcel holding/retrieval. - ~500 meters from Hyde park which is great for shakeout runs. - 15 minutes subway ride from London Marathon finish line (Piccadilly station). Everything was great but if I were to nit-pick, I would say perhaps the hotel may want to include instruction on how to use the radiator in the room. I had to do some research on Youtube to find out :)

Daher ist es etwas ungewhnlich verwinkelt. Mein Zimmer war nicht sehr gro, aber fr meine Zwecke hat es vllig ausgereicht. Das Bett war gut, ich habe sehr gut schlafen knnen. Das Bad mit Dusche war relativ neu gemacht und war vllig ok. Die tgliche Zimmerreinigung war auch nicht zu beanstanden. Das Frhstcksbuffet war ausreichend gro und man hat auf jeden Fall gut Frhstcken kmmen. Das Presonal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Fr einen Stdtetrip eine klare Empfehlung.
