NOX HOTELS | Hyde Park

I stayed here for 5 days with my family and we are satisfied with the room and service. Staff were professional and friendly. The clean room was perfect for the three of us and the distance to the tube stations and restaurants nearby made this hotel a perfect place for us! The availability of an elevator is a plus point especially when we travelled with big luggages. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely consider NOX Hyde Park for our future visits.

Hotel renovation clause was or is not clear enough to iterate the living condition or level. Some renovationis an understatement. The staying condition are not good. There's dust particles in the are and strong smell of paint. Being on the 4th floor, its been very warm and uncomfortable. Using the air conditioning means blowing dust particles into the room. We can provide images of the level of dust on the unit. Opening the window means bringing insects and increasing the noise levels. Talked to concierge about this and they believe this is okay and when we asked to move they told us they find us anitger room only to tell us the bext dsy that they could not move us. We couldn't find find another hotel given our pressing agendas it was very difficult yo relocate. Needless to say we didn't sleep well and this is having an adverse effect on our day. Hotels are meant to provide a decent comfortable stay for guests and this experience has been far from this. Very unpleasant stay and we cant do much about it as we feel like we are out of options. I have pictures and video of the noise coming from the window because its opened to keep cool. Very concerning health wise as we are staying on a floor that's still being worked on. This morning we woke to the sound of a wood saw. On our way out we saw two gentlemen working and cutting wood. I'm honestly disappointed that this is even allowed. We are staying on a contract site basically with all sort of material particles in the air. I think it's a concern of the level of air quality, airborne contaminants wixh affect the respiratory system. Without knowing or understanding the kind of work being done this make us guests feel nervous and stressed on top of this the paint fumes are irritating adding to a very discomforting stay.
