upon arrival we were told that rooms we had booked were not available, and we had been 'upgraded' from our double room into two single rooms, we were offered no alternatives and the reason was given as 'technical fault with our original rooms' upon speaking with other guests it appears that most people have been asked if they would change to single room which this hotel has allot of, leading to the conclusion that the hotel was overbooked. after complaining three times I was at last offered an English breakfast for my inconvenience. The rooms are in need of updating, the location is noisy but this is to be expected, very squeaky floor boards and beds in need of renewal, all in all I would look elsewhere I expected better even from a budget hotel as the staff appear to be lacking in basic customer skill, the best way to prove yourself as a hotel is how you deal with problems and in this case badly, but it's not as bad as the sky lane hotel Gatwick in 2002.
