Dined here over the bank holiday weekend, unfortunately was the worst miller and carter experience I've had to date. Service was extremely slow, worse than I experienced at any restaurant in recent years ( I dine out at least once a week), and our waiter had a very weird manner. Took ages just to get a drink. In fact, the waiter tried to take our food order before drinks! The waiter seemed incapable of accepting my wife would order for children all at once, and curtly stated he would take the orders in the order he insisted. Lettuce wedge, which I've always been served well before my steak (and I noted other tables got well before mains) arrived seconds before our mains. Food was dumped at the table and was incomplete. In the end, as the waiter did not return, my wife had to alert staff at the bar that I had not been given the fries that came with the steak. When they arrived, the portion was miniscule, as were the other portions of fries and sweet potato fries my party ordered. My daughters steak was the thinnest dried up lump of rump steak imaginable - just because it's a childs meal, I dont see where any dried up old bit of meat will do. It was very well done and not the medium she asked for. I was served the smallest 16oz ribeye I've had at M and C ( and I've had a fair few), it was cooked ok, but one half tasted very peculiar. To sum up, I don't think I will ever return here based on this experience as there are superior options such as the one at woodford green or I'll give the one at Newbury Park a try.
