        I bought one after seeing a truncator demonstrated at a country show. I have used chainsaws for logging for 35 years, but have never seen such device: it makes logging much safer, removes the need to hold the logs down and makes logging much quicker! It also saves your back from picking logs up off the floor. If you use a chainsaw for logging you should get a truncator!
