        Booked for a week as a couple and much enjoyed our stay. Elterwater is a brilliant place, the cottage was quiet and sheep wandering up and down outside helped the relaxed atmosphere - and the pub is just 200yds away! The little shop at Chapel Stile up the road is remarkably well stocked. The kitchen is well stocked too with a full range of cooking utensils. The beds are comfy and the water is hot! The owner is courteous and highly supportive and he returned our deposit promptly. What's not to like?
