        Stopped here today for food and drinks, the food was outstanding they have a small plates menu which is new, and what can I say... wow best food in the lake district, portion sizes spot on, good variety, excellent value and the food extremely tasty and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the place, fantastic customer service from the lovely scouse lady working there also, overall 10/10 will definitely be returning during our stay in grasmere

        Enjoyed a delicious lunch here on our way to Helm Crag. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We sat in the bay window and the view was superb!
