Harley's Bistro & Caf Bar

We had the Chicken Cajan Burger which was served with skinny fries and delicious salad. Excellent food and service, very friendly. It was the Burger and a pint special great value! Strongly recommend this place for food and drink.

Just popped in for a couple of hot chocolates and a flapjack. The hot chocolates were big and hot, but not nice tasting. The flapjack was like concrete and not nice tasting and cost almost 4. Also yukky music playing. Grasmere is beautiful, but I wouldn't recommend going to this place for a bite to eat and drink!

Staff seemed nice enough, had a clean bathroom and baby changing which is great, the building is lovely and the place is clean. I had a latte and my wife a cappuccino. The latte tasted like one you'd get from a sache, it wasn't very nice, I don't think my wife enjoyed her cappuccino either. The breakfast was good apart from the sausages, both me and my wife ended up finding gristle in them, they also had quite a tough skin on them when cooked. The rest was fine though, the black pudding was lovely, egg was nicely done and the bacon, it was nice to have a tomato on there and mushroom, as well as the hash brown. So apart from the sausages it was a great breakfast. The coffee was a major let down for me though and was a deal breaker. They also sold fruit shoots for kids too so I'd say it's kid friendly. I would recommend giving this place a try because maybe this was just a one off. You might like it.

Nice converted church, expected it to be nice food following positive Google Reviews. Food was absolutely disgusting. Prices were beyond ridiculous also for the tiniest portions. Wait times for food were also horrendous for a half filled room. Will not be returning.

Food was very overpriced and tasted schiezer. Wouldnt let my dog eat this and it made my mum look like a good cook (she is rubbish). Visited last week and will not be returning.
