Hot tub not hot. Was promised help with it but it never came. Sauna not in use and clearly hadnt been for some time. Steam room good. Signs of neglect in and around the grounds. In Lodge not enough cutlery for group. No basics such as dw tablets, washing up liquid, cloths etc. Bin, washing up bowl and rack were clearly unwashed when we arrived. Sheets in cotton bags left around outside for whole of our stay! Mostly run by very young people. Park is in beautiful setting and the staff were doing their best and were polite and this was despite being what looked like understaffed. Lodge was cosy. Would have asked for a refund for lack of spa things working but didn't want to cause more workload for the staff. Worked out expensive without these facilities as advertised!

A pleasant restaurant with efficient staff. Good quality, generously sized battered fish, but chips that were only warm and quickly went cold. Really great, large, crispy baked pizza, but also with chips that soon went cold. Rather disappointing. The prices were reasonable, except for the drinks, which were quite expensive, with too many foreign/continental lagers for my liking. The white zinfandel was almost double the price of home. If I had taken the time to complain and send the chips back, we might have been more satisfied.
