        Had an absolutely lovely stay in the High Cottage. Very cosy, close enough to Ambleside that you can go in and get supplies but far enough away that it's quiet, all you can hear is the river in the distance. Very warm reception despite arriving early, and the plate of biscuits was greatly appreciated! Would highly recommend for a getaway with friends.
