        Parking: Only found the parking because left lancashire at 5 in the morning to get there for 7, after the walk and a nip into town for coffee and cake it would have been about 1100hrs and there was no parking. Recommended activities Walking, Hiking, Running Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Paid parking lot More

        A great fell to climb up from Grasmere. Best way to travel up is from the village centre and up past The Lancrigg hotel. Ive been up so many times that I proposed to my partner at the top. It had snowed too and it was so beautiful. Whether good visibility of Grasmere or not, I really recommend the journey.

        Amazing place if you're a wild camper. The views and sunset were out of this world. Easy to get to, park anywhere in Grasmere (there's plenty of free parking) and make your way up.
