Marys Cottage Grasmere

Lovely cottage in a great spot, enjoyed the cottage very much and the hot tub despite it being early April! Our only negatives were that the bathroom needs some minor decoration and the bedroom temp was a little on the cool side in comparison to the rest of the cottage that was very cosy. Neither of these things affected our overall stay and would definitely recommend and return

Wow, wow and wow again. What an absolute gem of a find in the heart of Grasmere. My husband and I have been coming to Grasmere for 22years and have never stayed anywhere as lovely as Marys. It was slightly above what we would usually pay but absolutely worth that stretch. The attention to detail was amazing. Even Jasper our dog had his own welcome pack. Due to its central location you can park your car and forget about it until the end of your stay. Restaurants, walks and cosy pubs all within walking distance. The highlights for us were the hot tub to ease those muscles after a hard days hike and then the log burner to cosy up on cold evenings. I would challenge anybody to be disappointed with this little beauty. We shall be back. Thank you Dave and Sara.

This is our first stay at Marys and hopefully wont be our last! Had a fantastic 4 night stay with 2 dogs. Its a beautiful place with all the mod cons. There are some great touches including the hot tub, log burner, rainfall shower, huge tv with Sonos speakers. Not to mention the perfect location right in the heart of Grasmere. Thank you for having us David and Sara. We have left feeling so relaxed and looking forward to a return trip. X
