At Marys Church is beautiful in its own right. William Wordsworth was warden and when his Daughter Dora died he planted the field behind with daffodils. Now Doras field well worth a visit especially during March/April when the daffodils are in full bloom. I pilgrimage here every year as my Mothers Day reward to myself.

I didn't go in as I had just finished the Fairfield Horseshoe and wanted to get back to my vehicle. Had to stop and take a photo though, it is stunning.

Beautiful church! Would of loved to go inside or wander around the grounds outside a little more but theres zero parking at all near it, we parked up quickly on the no visitors parking road so I could take a few quick snaps and then drove away. But great if you are visiting the hall up the road for the day as they do have a paid car park.
