The barman lacks any form of customer skills, barks next at the customer, then makes sarcastic comments when he hasn't listened to your order. Visited a neighbouring establishment and was greeted with (hello sir want would you like).

The ODG Climbers Bar was once a great traditional lakeland pub, I've been going there for years. But it's now a shell of itself and nothing but a tourist trap. They used to have a great menu, now there's only bad chips or a sandwich and the beer is hugely overpriced. The main guy behind thr bar for the last couple of years is rude to everyone and unfortunately I can't think of a reason to keep going back and will be avoiding it in favour of the other two establishments close by.

Legendary Lake District pub that hasnt much changed in the past 100 years. If youre looking for the real Lakes experience, this is it. No doubt your grandfather probably drank in here too.

Great pub in the most picturesque location. Decent food and lovely outdoor area in the summer.
