This surgery has provided service for me and my two children for the past 4 years. Pros: some GPs very kind, patient, thorough, personable and good level of communication, sometimes go beyond their duty to assist; Always receive a same-day GP call-back instead of an appointment for minor issues; Premises clean, well-located, very calm and friendly; Reception staff okay - some very helpful, others just get the basic job done; Nurse provides minor procedures, including seasonal Flu jabs; Dispensary can send prescription down to local Pharmacy so you only need to collect the item(s), rather than make two journeys. Cons: have to call (and wait in queue) at 8am to get appointment that day - no non-urgent appointments to book in advance; Some GPs unprofessional (since left), less time efficient i.e. delayed appointment times, less personal; Dispensary muddle with not calling back to confirm action taken/sending prescription on to pharmacy/leaving out for collection; Not enough GPs!

Doctors never call back (they'll lie and say they did) as well as rude and unprofessional staff

It's a bit of an old fashioned mentality when it comes to diagnosis of illnesses and the method to cure. If you went in with your head in your hands and blood spurting from your neck you'd be told to eat healthy, stop smoking and drinking and get plenty of exercise, as these 4 things cure everything according to Lakenheaths medical team. It also has an extremely long wait when you're there, often an hour long or just over. The staff are friendly which is the only reason I'd give it 3 stars and it's conveniently located.
