Saffron D'or

Recently had my wedding here and can only give praises! A big shoutout to the Saffron D'or team for all their support, they were very accommodating and were able to listen and take onboard all our requests without issue. Mohammed was our main contact during the event, and he made sure everything was in order. The venue itself has many setups for decoration and the food is also great. We received lots of positive feedback regarding the food from our guests so very pleased with that. Overall, we highly recommend Saffron D'or for your functions! Thanks again Mohammed and team!

Hosted a wedding for my sister in law last week, Food was absolutely delicious, I had chosen Fried masala fish/Aloo paapri chaat/mix veg pakoras/chicken tikka The pakoras were the best, tasted almost homemade (thin and crispy) The chaat was 2nd best. Masala fried fish 3rd best. Chicken tikka was a bit dry (but that is usually expected as it is a dry cut if chicken!) I had also chosen chicken karahi/lamb karahi and mix veg curry (all 3 were delicious/tasty ) I went for Hyderabadi Lamb Biryani also (as suggested by the lovely Rokhsana who works there alongside the events manager) The biryani was great Lastly I chose Gajjar ka halwa with ice-cream (halwa tasted nice, however ice-cream didnt taste premium sadly) Another downside was that the dessert was NOT served in big serving bowls for anyone to put their desired amount. Plus it took long for the waitresses to bring it out to the guests because they were serving it up in dessert plates (a tablespoon of each which was far too less for my liking!) the halwa even ended up going to waste coz most kids/teenage guests ate the ice-cream and left the halwa untouched Audio was not all that great in the hall either, volume wouldnt set to the desired volume (busted) Stage/table decor/hall size and walkway was fantastic. All in all not bad for the price we paid One big mistake made was to take the advice of the event Manager who suggested I get the starter plates cleared first then serve the main (an hour gap between each course for 220 guests) my guests began leaving without dessert coz it was getting too late (wedding function started at 7 but starters were only allowed to be served at 8 and main at 9 then dessert at 9:45ish) Otherwise one should ask for it all to be served at once to make it easier on guests that have babies/young kids and even the elderly Overall 9/10

My family and I have had the most amazing experience with Saffron Dor from initial booking to actual event.Roxanna was professional and made us feel at ease as soon as we enquired. She and Mohammed ensured the night went as expected and I would highly recommend this place because of them. The food was amazing and decor also. Thank you so much Saffron, my brothers reception could not have gone any better!
