Recently enjoyed our trip to Lindisfarne. Kept us all interested and a great pace for me arthritis and grandaughter with too much energy

The trip to Holy Island was everything we hoped it would be. Ray was a knowledgeable and interesting guide, leading us across the sands and filling us in on the history of early Christianity and the Northumbrian kings. It was made particularly atmospheric by the early mists drifting in off the sea. Ray took us on to the island, telling us more about how the island was settled and pointing out the many interesting things that we would have missed had we been unaccompanied. Well worth it!
