        Please avoid avoid avoid. Good Friday totally ruined when they rang 2 hours before my lunchtime appointment to cancel and told me my glasses had not been delivered. Surely they would have know this the day before. This also meant I was without glasses for a holiday. Staff were confused and even had the wrong details when they rang me a week later to say the glasses were ready. Really appalling. Expected better of Boots. No apology or compensation offered.

        Needed to contact the branch by phone. Tried repeatedly over several days, at different times of day, during the opening hours. The phone rings and no-one answers. I have changed opticians.

        Great customer service. After having a sore eye, I walked in and was seen the same day. The optician thoroughly checked my eye and gave me a prescription all free of charge. Thank you for your help.
