Robert Hughes Garden Design

Rob is without doubt fantastic at his job! He has created an amazing garden for our family. He listened to our vague ideas and delivered some beautiful designs. As with all designs, we made some minor alterations along the way and he was happy to tweak things until it was right. His planting plan was also beautiful and we cant wait for it all to bloom in the spring! We took his advice with choice of landscaper (Rob W) who was also brill. I first met Rob in what I can only describe as an interview (from Rob to me) in front of the blank canvas which was my back garden. I explained what the garden would be used for kids (so had to be low maintenance, robust etc), and big kids alike to enjoy. Rob went away and drew exactly what I described, and then translated that into the real thing. We were and still are shocked at the talent of this man and his builders (Rob W). Rob has a gift for design and interpreted what we were looking for, combined with his own ideas and came up with three options. We were very happy with the chosen design and very satisfied with the quality of the drawings and Robs efforts to fulfil our brief. Robs suggested contractor did a fantatsic job in building the design. We are delighted with our completed garden.

Right from our first meeting in 2018 we knew we had found the right designer for us. Rob is friendly, easy to talk to, and an extremely talented and creative designer. He produced a variety of designs and images for our garden, and there was no end to his ideas! The attention to detail, level of work and thought he puts into the design process and detailed drawings is incredible. Rob remained enthusiastic and committed to the project throughout and our garden has finally become an area we can all enjoy. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him, or work with him again.
