I have been to many Toby restaurants but this is my favourite. There are always plenty of choices, and because it's busy, the food turns over quicker, giving you freshly cooked food all the time. The bar staff are quick to serve you, and even if there are just 2 of you, there is always loads of room on your table for your huge roast dinner. They do have an ANPR system in place to register your vehicle on arrival. However, this is turned off on a Sunday. Looking forward to our next visit. Parking: ANPR in place, make sure you enter your vehicle registration on entry.

Visited this branch of Toby today with my Sister and 98 year old Mother. Overall experience was disappointing to say the least. We were shown to our table by the manager and waited for the waitress. She came to our table to take our drinks order. We asked for refillable diet lemonade and was told they only did 7up. When they came they were in bottles. Later on my sister asked for refillable diet coke and again this came in a bottle. We were waiting to be told when we could go up for a carvery as were the couple that sat opposite. We asked another waitress if we could go up and she said yes. We asked for 2 adult meals and a child's carvery for my mother only to be told no, as it was company policy that child's carveries were for under 12's only. We took this up with the manager and pointed out we'd been to other Toby carveries where discretion was used in moms case and they did not have a problem with it. He just told us it was'against the rules'. We will not be visiting this branch again. We will be going back to our regular Toby carvery where the staff are properly trained and the Manager uses common sense and discretion!

Had a 2x king size carvery yesterday and the food was amazing the meat was cooked to perfection and even as a takeaway it was just as tasty as being in the restaurant Welldone toby Knowle Definitely would advise a visit
