I booked the Elgar Room thinking it'd be a simple and stress free way to eat before seeing a show, but unfortunately it was anything but. None of the waiting staff seemingly wanted to take ownership of our table so it felt like we were in no-mans land watching everyone else get served around us. It took for a waiter to spill red wine on my coat as he was walking past about 15 minutes after we had been seated before anyone interacted with us. It was downhill from there, with more long waits and food and drink being delivered incorrectly before we had to rush to our seats for the show. Easily the worst dining experience we've had and it'd be 1 star if not for the fact that the food was actually very pleasant.
