The Great North Wood

We used the rooms upstairs for our party. Absolutely fantastic experience: very helpful, friendly staff; great space with dancing and sitting options, food was delicious. Minimum spend on the bar (easily achieved) but otherwise no charge - cant get better value than that!

This is such a lovely pub, great selection of beers and ales, staff are friendly and attentive and the place is clean and welcoming. However, this the 3rd time in 6 weeks that I've come in and your lovely beer garden has been shut due to being "short staffed". I understand that things can be hard to monitor if you don't have the right amount of staff, but when you are locking a door which is clearly a fire exit is extremely dangerous, as well as being illegal! I sincerely hope you guys sort this issue out as as much as you probably think this is a minor issue it really isn't...I sincerely hope I don't have to experience this total negligence again.

Our group of 14 had an excellent experience while visiting The Great North Wood. The food was delicious. We had roast pork belly, beef, chicken,fish and chips burgers and a few hot snacks. Everything was just delicious. And the Conrad, who attended us, have done excellent job throughout various hours we've been there. I highly recommend the place.

This place has horrible service. If you are a tourist do not go here . Staff is not friendly and a little racist if I say so myself. The girl even walked out the door to tell me this is London you should know that . HORRIBLE and I was loving London . Came for the London marathon, the only bad experience so far.
