Always impeccable service with a smile. The whole team are so friendly and welcoming. Needed a repair this time, but nothing is ever too much bother! A very welcoming friendly local Opticians that treat you like an individual and not a just a number like in most of the big chains. The eye tests are very thorough and you feel like your eyes have been checked properly. The last optician I saw was Irene but the others are also very good. Unfortunately they do mover around though. If you book ahead you can request the same optician. I last saw Irene, who referred me when she saw something suspect at the back of my eye. The optician outside (cant remember name sorry, wears head covering) is very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I had a very uncomfortable frame and poor lenses from a chain and she took her time and listened to my concerns. She even remembered me when I went back to collect my glasses and was very attentive to fitting the frames properly. Never had that before anywhere! The lenses are a tad pricey but of high quality and frames are reasonably priced but I believe you get what you pay for. Unfortunately I have been to other big Opticians but was never 100% happy until I started coming here. Now I recommend these guys to everyone. Thank you for your excellent service!

Woodfall is a really excellent neighbourhood optician. I've been going for years, and their care and attention is always great, whether for regular check-ups, contact lens advice, choosing new glasses or emergency repairs - I've used them for all. There's a good range of frames too, for a range of budgets.

Got charged 750 for 1 pair of (non designer) glasses and 1 set of lenses in my sunglasses. Got the strong-arm tactics when I tried to challenge the bill - feel totally ripped off. You won't see me again.
