Having been let down by 2 local wood flooring suppliers/fitters (not turning up as agreed, no response to questions, no guidance, little interest), I was on the verge of opting for a new carpet in our lounge, despite my wife having her heart set on wood flooring. However, I decided to give it one more try and contacted 'Fitters-That-Care', and I'm so glad I did. Gary truly takes pride in providing a quality service and strives to please his customer. Nothing is too much trouble. He listened to our concerns and gave us options, explaing the pro's and con's, he provided various samples until we found the colour that met our requirements, he always arrived when he said he would and was respectful of our property, and at completion he left the site clean and tidy with a beautiful new floor and 2 happy customers! We have recently been renovating our property, and flooring was one of a million choices we had to make. We had our hearts set on real wood flooring but were endlessly getting pushed towards alternatives (LVT, engineered wood, ...) due to the costs involved, installation difficulty, practicality etc. We were recommended Gary from Fitters That Care and from that moment we never looked back. He presented all the options from material choices, finishes, care instructions - you can't help but admire his knowledge and enthusiasm for his product - and he offered us great value when we compared the costs against other offerings and fitters. Gary came to fit the floor himself and you can see he takes every job very personally. Going through a renovation, it is so re-assuring when you know the trades people you hire care as much about your home as you do. He took the necessary time and consideration to ensure that we have a floor that has been expertly laid and finished. We fully backed his motto that he rather "lay the floor properly first time, to avoid issues that will be more difficult to resolve down the line". We now have this beautiful herringbone oak floor throughout the ground floor of our house that runs seamlessly from room to room. It has come up even better than even we imagined at the start of the project. I cannot recommend Gary and Fitters That Care highly enough, and it is a given that if we ever need to do a similar flooring project again - they would be the first people we would call!
