Lytton Arms Pub

Lytton Arms in Knebworth sound like a good spot fi grab a pint! Dem have nuff beers and ale fi choose from, and di vibes seem cozy and friendly.

Now im not usually a pub person however the lytton arms is my FAV pub in the world. Always greeted with a warm welcome and a bonus they are dog friendly (delphi is a VIP!) . Had the roast today and was one of the best roasts Ive ever had. Now the apple and pear crumble...i like a good ratio of crumble to fruit (at least 60/40 crumble loool) Ray the new landlord entertained my lunacy when requesting for this and honestly it is THE best crumble I have EVER eaten...i nearly cried! the list could go on with the amazing food...the truffle fries, the triple cooked chips, the burger!

Amazing staff. Lots of bookings, neighbour pub was closed for private event pushing here many guests. And there were still 3 people working on getting us a table - as we entered as walk-in.

Disappointing.... For a pub that's always been focused on real ales, today's offererings yet another weekend of mediocrity. Maldon Gold, Side Pocket, Hophead, Wherry, XT Session & a Hazelnut Porter. Nothing wrong with any of these beers, but 5 of them are 3.6/3.8%. 4 of those blonde, hoppy... so not much in the way of choice! And, sadly, this is not an anomaly, but currently the norm. The management really need to review their offererings or risk losing some long standing customers permanently.
