Marcus carried out a Structural Engineers Survey on an old terraced house in Ripon I was buying. The survey was carried out within a couple of days of me requesting it and the report arrived quickly. It skilfully addressed all my concerns and was very detailed and thorough.
Marcus willingly gave up further time to answer questions following the survey both on the telephone and through email.
This was very reassuring.

Edit with regard to the owner's response: As mentioned above, I did have to ask about the three points which were provided with no apology for the oversight from either PA or surveyor. The other issues popped up post purchase (again as stated), so I'm unclear as to what you expected to address at that stage once I had no negotiation leeway with the previous owner.
