The survey report from Marcus was carried out very promptly and reached me within days. It was very helpful indeed and pointed out matters that have allowed me to make changes that radically improve the property and also safety around the home. Caroline kept me informed at all times and I could not be happier with the services of this business. I would 100% recommend Progress Consulting Ltd. Marcus carried out a Structural Engineers Survey on an old terraced house in Ripon I was buying. The survey was carried out within a couple of days of me requesting it and the report arrived quickly. It skilfully addressed all my concerns and was very detailed and thorough. Marcus willingly gave up further time to answer questions following the survey both on the telephone and through email. This was very reassuring. Thank you Marcus for such great service!

A detailed report produced in a timely manner. My issues were 1) the exclusion of three points I'd specifically asked to be investigated as part of the survey which required me to follow up on the matter 2) Issues that should have been flagged in the survey were missed and popped up post purchase (e.g. numerous bits of pointing needed on the porch roof and main roof - both visible from ground level). Some of this is evident in the survey photos so were present at the time and should have been flagged. Edit with regard to the owner's response: As mentioned above, I did have to ask about the three points which were provided with no apology for the oversight from either PA or surveyor. The other issues popped up post purchase (again as stated), so I'm unclear as to what you expected to address at that stage once I had no negotiation leeway with the previous owner.
