Luna Bride

I discovered Luna Bride on Instagram when I was in search of a sustainable and ethically made dress in the UK. I fell in love with the beautiful gowns I saw online and even more so when I had my first dress try on. Keely was lovely during the process and I never felt pressured to pick anything. I decided on the Posie dress with a slight change to the design and Keely was very accommodating. When I picked up my dress, George was on hand to make last minute adjustments and even added final touches that I didn't think about. I could not recommend Luna Bride enough. Thank you both so much for my perfect dress! :)

I had an amazing experience at Luna Bride for my bespoke dress. After going to several wedding dress shops in Yorkshire/London/Bath I couldnt find any dress that I was happy with- I felt that for many of them I would be paying a lot of money for material that felt cheap/uncomfortable. When I tried on the dresses at Luna bride it was clear that the quality was much better than the majority of dresses that I had tried on previously. The bamboo silk looked great/high quality and felt very soft and comfortable they are also organic/cruelty free which was an added bonus! Keely has a really lovely manner and puts you at ease straight away. Her and George created a bespoke dress for me and allowed me to draw a picture of exactly what I wanted. Keely was always very enthusiastic about my ideas and were was very patient at appointments with my endless lists of requests and never made me feel like I was being demanding (which I probably was!). I was able to pick out exactly what laces I wanted which made my dress feel really unique and one of a kind. Keely and George are both extremely talented and knowledgeable and it is clear they both take a lot of pride in their work. They both work tirelessly and will not stop making tweaks until the dress is perfect to both yours and their high standards! They are more than happy to make any changes you want at any point and are very accommodating. I cannot recommend Luna bride enough for a more personal and unique wedding dress that is perfectly fitted/designed for you much better than an off the peg dress from the bigger wedding dress companies in my opinion!

I couldn't have asked for a more amazing wedding dress experience and a more perfect wedding dress for my summer wedding in the Lakes and it's all thanks to Luna Bride. They were the dream team and I can't recommend them highly enough! I booked an appointment at Luna because I wanted a wedding dress with strong ethical and environmental credentials and there were some gorgeous dresses on the website. But I got so much more than that! I'd had a day trying on dresses when I arrived and me and my group were quite tired (and I was now really confused about what I wanted) but Keely was really accommodating and welcoming from the start. I tried on loads of dresses at the gorgeous studio (the location is beautiful too) and all of them were stunning. When I chose one, Keely was really open to my ideas for customisation. It soon became clear though, after some messaging back and forth, that what I really wanted was a bespoke dress and that was welcomed too! I had quite a few ideas for my dress - I knew early on that I wanted something a bit different, with colourful and eye-catching details. Keely was really enthusiastic about it all - I really appreciated this, as well as her patience when I kept having new ideas and changing my mind. She made so many great recommendations for design ideas, materials and embroidery, which I was sourcing from Etsy and didn't know where to start! The fittings were great and really relaxed and friendly - my mum loved all the crafting chats! That relaxed approach was particularly welcome given I was travelling up from the south each time - my family are up north but even if they hadn't been I would still have gone for Luna Bride! The fittings also meant I got to meet and spend time with George, my dressmaker at Luna. He is lovely and so so sooo talented. He understood my vision and the result was the dress of my dreams. As for the details of my dress - ivory lace, organic peace silk chiffon and spotted tulle, with a low v neck and backless, with scalloped lace. George painstakingly added my embroidery - flowers, birds, bees, dragonflies etc, as well as creating a spotted tulle overskirt that I adored and that allowed me an outfit change for the evening dancing, while keeping my beloved red velvet waist ribbon (which matched my shoes). I can't really describe how much I loved and love my dress. I learnt through the whole process I'm a bit of a control freak so I did stress about how it would all turn out. But that was so unnecessary because Luna Bride are AMAZING! The first time I tried on my dress it made me cry. And the comments I received from my husband and our wedding guests about the dress were the icing on the cake. Luna Bride created a dress that was so personal to me and really represented who I am and my values. I'll be forever grateful. If you're wondering whether to go see the amazing Luna Bride team about your dress, do it! You most definitely won't regret it.

Luna Bride was an absolute dream come true. I'd followed them for a while before getting engaged because finding sustainable wedding dress designers is so rare! When it came to finding my own wedding dress, Luna Bride was the first and only dress shop I visited. I was really anxious about trying on dresses and found it really overwhelming, but from the moment I met Keely she totally put me at ease. She is so calm and serene and has such a passion for sustainability and her dresses which just shines through. I loved pretty much all the dresses I tried on but it was pretty clear when I found 'the one'! Keely and George were so accommodating with some tweaks I made to the design and I felt so involved throughout the process of the dress being made. Keeley and George made it so special and personal and I just could not recommend them more. The dress was honestly breathtaking and I felt so comfortable and myself in it. One of my suppliers told me I looked like a fairy on the day which made me so happy as I had purchased the 'woodland fairy' dress. It was also so fun on the day to tell people 'and it's sustainable!' when they complimented the dress. If the corporate, mass- produced wedding industry is not your vibe and you want a couture dress with real sustainability credentials and a peaceful bridal experience, then Luna Bride is for you. Thank you so much to Keeley and George for making me the most beautiful wedding dress. From start to finish, Keeley's communication was brilliant. I had chosen my dress (a gorgeous two piece) before finding out I was pregnant and Keeley happily altered the design, and her and George made my dress to fit over my bump, which it did so beautifully. I felt amazing in it - I would really recommend them to anyone! Thank you again xx
