Peg 17, just infront of peg using old type pellet feeder (scoop)8mm Robin Red hair rigged,2 mm in feeder simple, plenty of good fighter's
Decent size lake, beautifully manicured and peaceful.Located in a nice village .Good secure parking, clean toilet/shower and on-site cafe, food options available . Usual fishing rules apply and checks are carried out to make sure they are adhered too.Several bait bans,no meat, (Groundbait), corn and a few more.
Owners Diane and Mick ( the baliff) are very pleasant and stop for chit-chat when working on the site *The caravan park is beautifully manicured and is always occupied when I visit, caravaners look to be more than happy with the facilities Located close to countryside, for visiting .Fishing the margins can be productive later in the day ,sit well back and don't feed much .Cold breeze kills fishing in my opinion .
Peg 1, dead reds with 2mm pellets in a Drennan scoop feeder with my go to Robin Reds(Always Haiths brand )6mm banded hook bait. Summer target the Margins with a (genuine) Halibut pellet -Banded 8/ 6 mm. Its a great place to visit
