Chantals Fupa Fluff.
Dr Tobin has been exceptionally rude to my ill relative this week and I've a good mind to take this further. Disgusting behaviour.

You cannot expect a surgery to adequately function when the Practice Manager brings you down. An appointment was cancelled after having it for 1 month, the morning of the appointment. I was given another date and told to 'take it or leave it'. This surgery delivers no care, compassion or stability to and for the patients they treat. The receptionists are rude, abrupt and will make excuses that aren't justified, essentially because they can. They ask clinical questions that fall outside of a typical triage and make assumptions on what care a patient needs, when they hold zero clinical training. They are lead by a Practice Manager who is sarcastic, condescending and is ultimately responsible for the failing state of the surgery. The cancellation of appointments due to a lack of staffing resilience or backup is utterly detrimental to a patient's health and they should be ashamed of the service they deliver. People's lives are being treated as if they don't matter and this surgery's practices are unsafe. If you would like to have your appointments cancelled the same day, be disrespected, condescended and treated as if you don't matter, make haste and register here for some good 1.5/5 healthcare. If you value your health and believe as as service user, you should be treated with dignity and respect by a surgery that has both professional and clinical resilience, register elsewhere. Kirkham Health Centre is contributing towards a failing NHS, but as long as they get paid, who cares, right? Shocking surgery, shocking staff and an absolute embarrassment to healthcare. No backup plans, no resilience, just another sub-standard failure.

Vile reception staff. As a practice, this is a bit of a shambles. The reception team although completely untrained will tell you that your situation isn't an emergency. When I have spoken to friends who are GPs about this they have been horrified. Not only is the reception team vile, they are also dangerous - despite spelling my name and confirming it with the team they still got it wrong for my appointment. They are also rude and dismissive with a very snarky nature. I would happily go to the Drs in this practice but I go elsewhere as I have had so many unpleasant experiences of the reception team.
