You're supposed to have Doctor/patient confidentiality. So when you confide in the Doctor about your mental health and they ring the police, that's a confidentiality breach. well done

The current management clearly lacks proficiency and vision. Don't bother trying to get an appointment, you'll need to be dying or very near, and at that point you'll be diverted to Hospital anyway. Apparently, a phone diagnoses is enough to determine just about any ailment you may have, and rest assured that if you should require anti-biotics for an infection or even just as a placebo, you'll be happy in the knowledge that they are now handed out like candy to children - so much for reducing dependency on them! To one and all I say: fear not, for all this nonsense will eventually pass, and, with any luck, the GP's will recover from Covid brain fog and start acting like the GP's we once knew and respected. That's if they ever stop cowering under their desks.
