This review is my opinion only, please support local and form your own views and do give Cafe Williams a go for yourselves. This was our first visit, the place had a good few customers in already with more arriving whilst we sat. The smell was the first thing we noticed when we walked in, it smelled amazing of what I'm guessing is homemade food. The two staff members we saw were officiant, polite and chatted when we spoke with them, both seem lovely. The look of this place is modern country, it's clean, cosy and warm with good simple dcor right for it's surrounding. We only had time for coffee on this occasion, so cannot comment on food. We ordered two cappuccino (yes, heathens I know) unfortunately they were not great both in equally measure, very weak in flavour, none descript in fact, simply no coffee flavour and served too hot with light fluffy foam, no silky smooth micro velvety creaminess we all expect of our foam these days, but in fairness to this little place, it was not the worse foam we've had, but when coupled with none descript weakness and being brewed at far too hotter temperature, the result was poor, no I did not say anything but should have. We left 5 minutes after finishing our drinks with a curdled milk text in the mouth, such a shame for a first visit. This said, we will probably return to try the great smelling food and maybe drink tea next time. I can imagine they serve really good food as the place did seem very busy for a mid week February afternoon.
