    Bought a focus st line 1 year ago With in 2 month 2nd gear synchro kept popping out off gear. They did fix it then under my warranty about 3 months after 1st 3rd gear synchro did same they fixed then happens again with 2nd gear. This time I asked for a check on the gear box. They used someone independent??!! Who said it was my driving ? I am a 46 year old man with 3 kids driving a 1 L focus not a boy racer taking it to .7 thousand revs in each gear. I have been driving nearly 30 years and never ever I have a synchro go on any vehicle but in the last year of my life I must of obtained skills of breaking car gear box parts. Now that part is not covered no more I have had the car back a few months months and no warranty its happened in 2nd gear again and its going to cost me over 500.00. Which is amazing as Ive been put in sick leave from work due to finding out in Jan I have cancer. On another occasion I was driving and my breaks didnt work I had the kids in the car and nearly hit another car and a wall. How we werent injured or killed is beyond me. AA attended and showed me the break pipe line had been put back on the wrong side and it was rubbing eventually splitting photo from AA to prove. I had to be towed to a garage The car had had a recent service from yourselves service which included checking the breaks ?? Told customer services nothing said back at all absolute joke. I doubt any higher management was told and if they were what a disgrace they they didnt get in touch. My kids were really shaken So you make your own choices Paul Varley

    Another reply from "owner".not related to almost two year worth of complaints. Battery is fine now. I'll be leaving 1star review's until "owner" will reply to our emails and deal with complaints. December 2022 Car came back with fixed gearbox, flat battery and several electrical issues. Aftersales team needs some serious education on communication skills, managing compliants and email etiquette. Update October 2022 This is our third car form this garage. This time the service is less than not sufficient. Four visits at the garage with the gearbox issues. Just found out that we have to go to the specialist because they don't know enough about it. All that after two years of telling us, that there is nothing wrong with the gearbox or clutch. Below comment change two weeks after buying the third car. Great communication, customer service. Purchased third car and we are always happy with the whole experience.

    Absolutely disgusting with the company way of managing compliants. Denial, abrupt approach, contradicting information's provided. Selling unreliable, faulty vehicles - without taking any responsibility. Extended warranty is a farce. Reply from Georgeso is appalling. No claims against the battery was made- car still not fit to drive on the collection from the outsourced garage. Claim against the warranty was done in the first weeks of purchasing this car. Georgesons never found any fault for almost two year's. Outsourced garage found the fault on gearbox in 5 minutes. I don't feel that way. The whole review is based on the facts.
