Nothing was too much hassle for her, she asked what horses we were used to riding as I explained how were experienced riders and we kindly asked if possible to ride the beautiful Clydesdales they have - after a slight negotiation about what level of ride wed have to do if we both wanted to ride heavy breeds we were all booked for the next day - upon arrival we were greeted by all staff who were brushing/feeding all the horses before there day started which was lovely to see them getting so well cared for we were shown to our horses which were totally amazing and off we went with Sophie for our ride around the Forrest.
It was totally worth every minute and would 100% return for more rides in the future and highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area who are horse obsessed like we are :)

My wife spotted this after being prompted by one of the Center Parcs staff (Leacett Cottage isnt part of Centre Parcs, but its really easy to book a ride and you can get to it out the back of the Outdoor activity centre). Shes a very keen horserider, but Id never previously got on one: we both had a great time on a delightful hack through lovely woodland/countryside.
One point to note - check your weight with the organisers before you go. This wasnt a problem for us, but we saw one group decide not to ride because one of them was too heavy for any of the horses.
