Took my Bongo to him for work. He kept me updated with progress and when things were worse than I had thought. Took decision to carry on with all the work. Just picked my Bongo up and really happy with the work done.

I cannot recommend Stephen enough. I needed a lot of things doing to my Mazda Bongo and I am so glad that I had an this work done by Stephen. The workmanship he provided was exceptional and very reasonably priced. Stephen kept me informed on costs and progress all the way through. I know he is a busy man but he knows bongos like the back of his hand and i know i will be using Stephen in future.

I have used Stephen McWhirter Services for all my car servicing and repair needs for several years now. The cars I've had are older and Steve has always provided excellent professional advice and options for what work does or might need doing and always at a fair price and completed within our agreed time scales. For servicing and planned work I usually offer up a few dates and Steve chooses one, but there have been a few occasions when something more urgent crops up and he has never let me down. This week the plastic housing of the thermostat on my Ford Focus broke. Steve diagnosed the required part over the phone, ordered it and replaced it next day. Back on the road with no fuss. He has never let me down and I highly recommend him as a first class affordable motor mechanic.
